Victor a Coeur d'Alene Indian who lives on the reservation in Idaho, receives the horrible news that his father, Arnold, has died in Phoenix. His nerdy friend Thomas Builds-the-Fire offers him the money for the trip from Idaho on the condition that he let Thomas go along with him. Arnold once saved the infant Thomas's life, and Thomas now idolizes him as a brave, colorful, bigger-than-life character. Victor, on the other hand, remembers him as an abusive, unpredictable drunk who abandoned his family. The movie smoke signals takes the two young men through thier soul flights to become one with the earth and come to peace with the world. The saying that "life is a dream" doesn't mean the physical universe is an illusion, but that spiritual reality, Ultimate Reality, is much more substantial, although it seems less so here in "Dreamland." The dream is that we are completely separate beings, mortal and detached from God, and in our inability to realize we are dreaming like in the movie when wyilie tries to change the lighting conditions or when he tries to chech his watch
tryinng to wake
The one who seeks should not cease seeking until he finds. And when he finds, he will be dismayed. And when he is dismayed, he will be astonished. And he will be king over the All.

dreams
Dreams. What are they? An escape from reality or reality itself? Waking Life follows the dream(s) of one man and his attempt to find and discern the absolute difference between waking life and the dreamworld. While trying to figure out a way to wake up, he runs into many people on his way; some of which offer one sentence asides on life, others delving deeply into existential questions and life's mysteries. We become the main character. It becomes our dream and our questions being asked and answered. Can we control our dreams? What are they telling us about life? About death? About ourselves and where we come from and where we are going? The film does not answer all these for us. Instead, it inspires us to ask the questions and find the answers ourselves.
ring of fire
Love is a burnin' thing,An' it makes a firy ring.Brought from wild desireI fell into a ring of fire.
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire.I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher. And it burns, burns, burns, that ring of fire, that ring of fire.
I fell into a burning ring of fire.I went down, down, down, and the flames went higher. And it burns, burns, burns, that ring of fire, that ring of fire. The taste of love is sweetWhen hearts like ours meet.I fell for you like a child.Oh, but the fire went wild.
I fell into a burning ring of fire.I went down, down, down, and the flames they went higher. And it burns, burns, burns, that ring of fire, that ring of fire johnny cash

the indian
what was going on?
In this story there is an indian that only picks up fellow indians that are trying to hitchhike, in the story he picks up a hitchhiker that calls himself a great fighter who just gave up in the lasst fight (pussy), he could have gone till he passed out or tripped the giant, he claimed to be fighting, or was the fight in himself with his sexuality and he must have lost if that was what happed because the hitchhiker winds up staying in a hotel with him then he woke up to find the fighter naked playing with him and he winds up having gay but love with the stranger. But in the story after he is defiled he asks the man to leave and as he goes the reporter watches the man walk and fade into the distance and I do not know what this means like his manhood fading away or something.

my voive
my voice
I am one of three children I have an older very independent and completly self sufficientsister who can do everything completly alone. I also have an elder brother who is fairly needey in all aspects of his life he thinks it is just hard on him but in reality he just doesnt know how to manage anything.
I am from a fairly average middle class family in the heart of bozeman I spent my child hood trying but failing horribly to do sports it didnt matter which ones I tried to do I was horrible at them all except little league I did good at the baseball but I hated it it is so bloody booring that I could hardly contain myself.
My mother is from an average middle class familythatt both parents worked she has one younger brother. My father is from a slightly higher class family only his father worked and his mother stayed home to raise his five younger brothers and sisters. Being from a family that large he was on his own pretty much ever since he was 18 and out of highschool.
Growing up in this family my parents were quick to teach me the value of a dollar, what hard work can do for you and to always love and cherish your family so I have always tried my hardest anddone my best to keep myself busy.
